We are proud to showcase the work of Yohana Junker, titled Frayed | Hilos, 2018, for this year’s TTC. Junker is a visual artist and Ph.D. candidate at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. An immigrant from Brazil, Junker is dedicated to advancing the representation of Latinx scholars in the academy, particularly within the academic disciplines of art history, religious aesthetics, and eco-criticism, especially as they are predominantly populated by white, male scholars.
